Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015)
Take the first steps to a rewarding career in individual care. In this course you’ll gain the skills you need to provide person-centred support to people in residential care (aged care, disability care, community care and hospitals). You’ll learn to use your communication and people skills as well as professional judgement in providing this support.
When you complete this course, you’ll be able to work as a care worker, residential support worker, personal care attendant, nursing assistant, community worker, home carer and in-home respite worker.
The course involves: 13 units of competency (7 core, 6 elective) + a 120-hour work placement
Prerequisites: There are no entry requirements for this course. Previous experience in the industry or entry level studies would be helpful.
