A Look Inside Brite’s PPD Centre

By February 26, 2021October 20th, 2023No Comments

At Brite our Pick Pack and Dispatch centre, otherwise known as BritePak, is one of the major parts of our operation. Here, we employ people with disabilities to perform tasks for companies that need support with either their warehousing and\/or order fulfilment. Working with Brite, you’re contributing to helping provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities, while getting important parts of your work done in a high-quality, timely manner. Today, we’re going to give you a closer look inside our Pick, Pack and Dispatch centre so you can learn a little bit more about what we do.

Our Services and Capabilities

At BritePak, out staff take over the tedious warehouse tasks to allow you more time to focus on all things related to running a business such as controlling labour costs, improving capacity and production efficiency and core activities. No matter the size of your packing requirements, BritePak is capable of delivering an outstanding service. Our services include:

  • Pick, Pack and Dispatch
  • Blister Sealing
  • Food packaging and labelling (CleanPak)
  • Contract assembly and labelling
  • Container unloading and loading
  • Production of custom designed plastic packaging to suit your application
  • Mail distribution

Through each of these services, we have a range of key capabilities within our warehouse that include:

Brite Assisted Technology Manufacturing:

Our assisted technology manufacturing service makes us the only Victorian manufacturer for adaptive wheelchair and bike assimilation, otherwise known as our Brike. The Brike allows people with disabilities to enjoy cycling though a tricycle style, e-powered technology bike with a platform that allows the rider to carry a wheelchair passenger.

Thermoformed Plastics Manufacturing

We have manufactured ice cream cake trays for some of Australia’s largest food manufacturers in addition to specialised retail PVC blister packs for the electronics industry.

Food Manufacturing:

Through our food manufacturing service, we produce Brite Muesli, which is manufactured on site. Our muesli is proudly manufactured using ingredients from our local farmers and is packed carefully by our team every single time. Within food manufacturing service, we also offer co-packaging opportunities for doy pouches and BOPP bags using our state of the art in-line pouch filling machine.

PPE Face Shields:

Through BritePak, we can produce TGA approved anti fog Face Shields for use in medical environments, dental fields and anywhere that there is a need for PPE safety for the protection against air borne bacteria. Last year we received media coverage for our Toyota face masks.

Welcome:

We are thrilled this year to welcome two new clients to the Brite family, Ever Roses and Nourish Australia. Our amazing staff will be packaging products for these two businesses, helping them relive some stress so that they can focus on developing other areas of their business.

Ever Roses

Ever Roses is an Australian start up business that offers a unique range of beautiful preserved real roses that last for more than a year, stored in an acrylic container that allows for a 360-degree view of the rose. The roses come in a range of different colours and sizes, and the team at Brite will be working to assemble the acrylic containers as well as package the orders. Coming up to Mother’s Day, we expect to see the assembly and packaging of over 7000 units, with expected growth as the business matures within Australia.
